CEMEX in the Czech Republic launches CEMEX Foundation to help build a better future for those in need

CEMEX in the Czech Republic has launched the Building the Future Foundation in order to channel efforts to offer a helping hand to those who need assistance. This latest chapter of the CEMEX Foundation replicates efforts being undertaken around the world to help the communities in and around the company’s operations.

CEMEX in the Czech Republic launches CEMEX Foundation to help build a better future for those in need

Through the Building the Future Foundation, CEMEX in the Czech Republic will support projects to promote education, research, and development, to protect the environment and its biodiversity, to improve housing and the infrastructure, and to provide backing for cultural and sports activities in the regions where the company operates. The Czech Republic is often plagued by floods that leave extreme devastation in their wake. At times of such disasters, the CEMEX foundation fund will be prepared to help.

The foundation is currently accepting applications for financial grants, with a deadline of April 16. Additional information on the foundation fund as well as details about applications for financial grants is available at www.budujemebudoucnost.cz (website in Czech).
