As a socially responsible company, CEMEX is committed to developing and sustaining mutually beneficial relationships with its neighboring communities and host countries. Among other avenues, the company engages the communities in which it operates through open and ongoing dialogue, social initiatives, and volunteer efforts. Engaging its stakeholders is one of the three main objectives of CEMEX’s sustainability model, and strengthening local communities is a top priority of this objective.

We must educate generations of young environmentalists on the importance of water preservation for future generations.”

There, they learn about how CEMEX came to Nicaragua, its beginnings, growth, projects, investment, and how it works to be in harmony with both nature and the community it surrounds.
