CEMEX in France provided special ready-mix concrete and aggregates products for the new Zidane Sports Center, Z5, near the city of Marseille on the Mediterranean coast of Southern France. The sports center is owned by French football legend Zinedine Zidane, who was born in Marseille.
Located on 18,000 square meters, the complex includes seven soccer fields, along with a central building featuring fitness and gym rooms, a multi-purpose area, a restaurant, and two swimming pools.
Conceived by architect Christophe Gulizzi in dominant shades of black, the center was completed in only 10 months thanks to the efficient cooperation of the working teams and suppliers. In harmony with the architect’s concept, CEMEX in France supplied 400 cubic meters of black Advanci® Architectonique ready-mix concrete. CEMEX also provided 1,200 square meters of grey ready-mix concrete with black quartz stones for paving, as well as 300 square meters of ready-mix concrete pavement outside of the facility, bush-hammered to expose special black aggregates.
CEMEX develops innovative building solutions that keep the company and its customers at the forefront of the industry. The company tailors its products and services to suit its customers’ specific demands.
