Our History

Hungary

CEMEX's Hungarian operations are well positioned to capitalize on expanding Eastern European markets. The company produces and distributes ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and concrete products (paving stones).

User base

Concrete is one of the most popular building materials in Hungary. The Hungarian construction industry is relatively concentrated. In 2009 the country’s total construction output declined 4.3 percent, driven primarily by a drop in building construction.
