We encourage our employees to volunteer their time and share their skills with their communities. Our operations in many countries conduct enthusiastic volunteering activities. The following are among the most outstanding examples.

Costa Rica
Employees assist during their working hours to help develop communities and improve local schools near our sites.

Activities have included painting walls, replacing blackboards and electrical installations, cleaning and improving gardens and sports facilities, as well as training children in environmental protection. During 2007, 1,300 hours were donated. This program benefited more than 2,500 students.

Philippines
In the Philippines, our employees, their families, and community volunteers work together every year to improve conditions at local elementary schools under our Adopt-A-School program. Also, we are at the forefront of greater business involvement in threatened species conservation through our award-winning Adopt-A-Species initiative.
