CEMEX rehabilitates main highway in Mexico with hydraulic concrete
CEMEX announced the four-kilometer hydraulic concrete paving of the Periferico Paseo de la Republica (Paseo de la Republica beltway), one of the main avenues in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.
Saint-Jean-de-Luz strengthens its seawalls with CEMEX "underwater" concrete solutions
Three seawalls - Artha (250 m), Sainte-Barbe (180 m) and Socoa (490 m) - protect the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz from the swell. Built under Napoleon III, they require regular maintenance. In 2016, three sets of "major repair" works were scheduled by the Pyrénées-Atlantiques office, following damage caused by recent storms.
CEMEX introduces a platform to avoid accidents on the road
Its main objective is to increase road education and respect among road users to avoid the occurrence of traffic accidents. The Platform is being promoted by CEMEX Baleares, and it has joined several entities related to transport, sports, and circulation.

France’s Olympique Lyonnais Lion Stands Tall in Bush-hammered Concrete
Lyon, France is undergoing an urban renewal, beginning with the new Grand Stade football stadium and the rail line, and now with the new Olympique Lyonnais football club training and residential center in Meyzieu. Named the OL Academie Groupama, the center is envisioned as France's premier mixed-training facility, with six football fields, training buildings, restaurant, library and classrooms over a total surface area of 68,000 square meters, completed in 6 months.
