Jaime Muguiro
President, CEMEX USA
Jaime Muguiro joined CEMEX in 1996, and has held several executive positions in the Strategic Planning, Business Development, Ready-Mix Concrete, Aggregates, and Human Resources areas, and also headed CEMEX operations in Egypt, our operations in the Mediterranean region, and more recently our operations in the South, Central America and the Caribbean region. He holds a BA in Management from San Pablo CEU University, Spain, a Law degree from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Edgar Angeles
Executive Vice President, Cement Operations and Technical
As the Executive Vice President of Cement Operations and Technical, Edgar is responsible for the operation of the 11 CEMEX cement plants in the United States. Edgar started his career as a professional in development at CEMEX Mexico in 1999. He has held several leadership positions within Operations and Technical in different countries, including Vice President of Operations and Technical for CEMEX South, Central America and Caribbean region, and most recently as Vice President of Operations and Technical for CEMEX Mexico. Edgar holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico and has earned a Master of Science in Combustion and Energy from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.
Jeff Bobolts
Regional President, Florida Region
As the Regional President of the Florida Region, Jeff is responsible for regional commercial sales activities, as well as aggregates, ready mix, and other building materials operations. Jeff joined CEMEX in 2002 and has held various positions within the company including Vice President and General Manager Florida Aggregates, Vice President and General Manager Phoenix Aggregates/Asphalt and Vice President and General Manager Orlando/Ocala Ready Mix. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Florida State University and an MBA in International Business from the University of Central Florida. Jeff is actively involved in industry organizations and has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Concrete & Products Association and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Florida Limerock & Aggregates Institute.
Jerae Carlson
Senior Vice President of Sustainability, Communications & Public Affairs
As Vice President of Sustainability, Communications & Public Affairs, Jerae is responsible for the company’s sustainability, communications, public and government affairs, and social impact functions. Jerae joined CEMEX in 2011 as Litigation Counsel, prior to her most recent role as Vice President of Sustainability and Public Affairs. Jerae holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Millsaps College and a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law.
Scott Ducoff
Regional President, Texas Region
As Regional President for the Texas Region, Scott Ducoff is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt and other building materials. Scott has been in the building materials industry for over 30 years holding various senior executive level positions mostly in the Texas region of the US. Prior to joining CEMEX USA, Scott served as President of Campbell Concrete and Materials LP in Houston, Texas and also served as an advisor to various groups in the private equity industry. Scott is educated in both Finance and Management. Additionally, he has served on a number of corporate boards related to the building materials industry and has been actively involved with associations such as NRMCA and TACA.
Mike Egan
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
As the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for CEMEX’s U.S. operations, Mike is responsible for the company’s legal and environmental functions. Prior to this role, Mike served as Corporate Counsel over CEMEX USA’s East Region. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Boston College, an MBA from University of Bridgeport and a Juris Doctorate from University of Miami.
Tanya Foxe
Executive Vice President, Supply Chain
As Executive Vice President of Supply Chain, Tanya is responsible for planning, terminal operations, and logistics for the Cement business; in addition to procurement for all Cemex USA businesses and P&L accountability for the Transport and Fly Ash business units. Tanya has more than 25 year of global, transformative end-to-end Supply Chain experience within Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of industries, including Johnson & Johnson, Avon Cosmetics, Walmart, and Ford. Prior to joining Cemex, she held SVP roles in both the Medical Devices and Consumer Products business units of Johnson & Johnson. She earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree in International Business/Spanish from California State University, Fullerton.
Joel Galassini
Executive Vice President Cement Commercial
As the Executive Vice President of Cement Commercial, Joel is responsible for Cement Sales, Quality Assurance and Technical Services, Market Development, Commercial Strategy and Admixtures for the US Operations.
Joel has nearly 20 years of experience in the construction materials industry including various operational and sales roles in ready-mix, aggregates, and cement as well as in planning and logistics. Joel joined CEMEX in 2016 and has served as VP/GM for the Florida Aggregates Division and most recently as President of the Texas & New Mexico Region. Before joining the industry, Joel worked as a business consultant focused on supply chain solutions and strategic development for a variety of industries. Joel is active within the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) having served on the Board of Directors and currently serves as the Chairman of the Meetings and Education Committee. Joel has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Aggregates and Concrete Association and has been very active in the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program at Texas State University. Joel obtained his MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio and his BBA with concentrations in Accounting and Marketing from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management.
Alan MacVicar
Senior Vice President, Health & Safety
As Vice President of Health & Safety, Alan oversees the health and safety of all CEMEX USA employees and contractors. He holds a BA in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. Alan has been with CEMEX for over 34 years, holding several operational positions prior to moving to Health and Safety in 1996. He also has experience in Human Resources, Aggregate Resource Permitting and Community Relations. Alan was awarded the James M. Christie Award by the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association recognizing him as their Outstanding Health & Safety Professional in 2007.
Guillermo Martinez
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
As the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Guillermo is responsible for the company's human resources development and training, compensation and benefits and labor relations. Since joining CEMEX in 2000, Guillermo has held leadership positions within Human Resources and Strategic Planning in several countries, including his most recent role as CEMEX's Vice President, Human Resources, Spain and Mediterranean. Guillermo holds a master's degree in business administration from IESE - University of Navarra in Barcelona and a law degree from the University of Basque Country in San Sebastian, Spain.
David Nabavi
Regional President, Arizona Region
As Regional President of the Arizona Region, David is responsible for overseeing all regional activities in Arizona and Southern Nevada related to ready mix, aggregates, contracting and other building materials. David has over 20 years of experience in construction and the building materials industry. David joined CEMEX in 2008 and has held various positions within the company including Vice President and General Manager Orlando/Ocala Ready Mix and Director of Sales Orlando/Ocala Ready Mix. David is actively involved in industry organizations and has served in leadership positions for the Associated Builders and Contractors, Association of General Contractors, Florida Concrete and Products Association and as a member of the Regional Advisory Board for the M.E. Rinker School of Construction Management. David holds an undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
Trpimir Renić
Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning
As the Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning, Trpimir is responsible for business planning, strategic planning, corporate development, and real estate functions. Trpimir joined CEMEX in 1997 and has held various positions within the company including Country Director of CEMEX Croatia, Director of Post-Merger Integration Process and Continuous Improvement for CEMEX Europe, in addition to positions in Finance and Strategic Planning. Trpimir has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Manitoba, Canada.
Francisco Rivera
Regional President, California Region
As Regional President of the California Region, Francisco is responsible for overseeing all regional activities in California and Northern Nevada related to ready mix, aggregates, contracting and other building materials. Francisco joined CEMEX in 1994 and has held various positions within the company including Vice President of Cement Commercial for the West Region and Vice President and General Manager for Northern California Ready Mix.
Francisco is actively involved in industry organizations and is a board member of the Chico State CIM Program and has served on the board of the California Nevada Cement Association (CNCA). Francisco holds an Electronic Systems Engineer degree and an Information Technology Administration Master Degree from Monterrey Tech (ITESM).
Pat Strader
Senior Vice President, Customer Experience
As Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, Pat is responsible for leading and coordinating all customer centricity initiatives across CEMEX USA.
Pat joined CEMEX in 1986 and has held numerous positions within the company including Vice President of Operations, Vice President and General Manger Atlantic Region, Vice President and General Manager Texas and New Mexico Region and most recently as Vice President and General Manager Houston Ready Mix.
He is a past Chairman of the Board for the Texas Aggregates and Concrete Association (TACA). He has also served on the TACA Executive Committee and Board of Directors and currently serves on the Governmental Affairs and Safety and Transportation committees. He is also a past board Member for the Carolina Ready Mix Concrete Association (CRMCA).
Pat holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Tracie Tessier
Vice President Global Enterprise Services- Business Relationship
As Vice President Global Enterprise Services- Business Relationship for CEMEX USA, Tracie is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate service delivery of all back office functions, including, financial and operative reporting, information technology, internal control, financial analysis, credit & collection, as well as transactional services. She also acts as strategic advisor to the business units for services provided by Global Enterprise Services. Tracie joined CEMEX in 2008 and has held several leadership positions within the BSO, including her most recent role as Operational Support Director for CEMEX USA. Tracie holds a bachelor’ degree in Accounting from University of Tampa, as well as an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.
Marc Tyson
Regional President, Mid-South Region
As Regional President, Mid-South Region, Marc Tyson is responsible for overseeing all regional business activities related to concrete, aggregates, asphalt and other building materials. Prior to joining CEMEX USA, Marc was President of Ready Mix USA, a business he began in 1995, which eventually became one of the top five privately-owned ready mix concrete companies in the country. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the President’s Cabinet at the University of Alabama and is an active member of NRMCA.
